Soraya Forest Midgett
Soraya Forest Midgett has been a Virginia Beach resident for most of her life. Born in Rota, Spain, she is fluent in Spanish and brings both a global perspective and a strong understanding of the local Hampton Roads market.
She has experience working with military families and understands the challenges that can come with relocating to a new area. Soraya spent five years in the Navy Housing Office, assisting service members from all branches as they moved to the Hampton Roads area. That experience gave her a solid foundation in guiding clients through transitions and helping them feel more confident in the process.
Soraya began her real estate career in 2013 and has been focused on residential real estate ever since. She works closely with her clients to make sure they understand what to expect every step of the way, from agreement to closing. Her approach is simple—keep the process clear, organized, and as stress-free as possible.
Over the past 30 years, Soraya has personally bought and sold several homes and investment properties. She has managed rental properties and overseen the construction of two homes, giving her firsthand knowledge of both the buying and selling process. This experience allows her to better guide her clients, whether they are purchasing their first home, selling, or investing.
Soraya holds a Master of Business Administration from Regent University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health from Old Dominion University. She also serves as a supervisor at LifeNet Health, supporting organ and tissue donation services.
In addition, she volunteered for nearly 18 years with the City of Virginia Beach Rescue Squad as an EMT, achieving paramedic certification and working in a Level II trauma emergency room. These experiences have shaped her ability to stay calm under pressure and support people through important and sometimes stressful situations.
